Over the past 5 weeks, 20 of the most popular designer brands were put to the test and voted on by our fans. The goal was to see which brand our sunglasses enthusiasts felt deserved the honor of being named the Sunglasses Brand of 2008. After 4 weeks the final 4 brands; Chanel, Dita, Ray-Ban and Tom Ford, squared off in the main event to determine the champion. Dita emerged the winner, receiving enough votes and e-mails to claim the #1 spot. Thanks to everyone who voted and left comments to express which brand they felt deserved to be Brand of the Year. 	Tyra Banks in Marc Jacobs January 5, 2009 Photo Courtesy of Unknown These shades from Marc Jacobs don't look bad on Tyra, but they would look better on a guy, even though they're unisex. It's basically a remake of the Diorlywood, but with a heart and flower crammed onto the sides with the Dior logo. So if you like a lot of junk on your temples, this one's got it. So usually we would tell you that this style is difficult to pull off, but Solange fits into these like a glove. It's got the little Louie flower cut outs that run along the browbar and around to the back of the temple. The high rise frame style gives these a very angled fit. So it's like a combo of a Wayfarer and a Ray-Ban Clubmaster with a Gucci plate down the side of the temples. Would you have guessed that these are Gucci sunglasses?
