Well they're nothing special but they look decent on Katie. To me it basically looks like a Wayfarer, just with a slightly diff shape, and you know how I feel about Wayfarers (pokes eyes out). The only notable thing about the style is the other colors it's available in. There's a white/flower print and a crystal blue & transparent. Really there's no reason to wear them except for the other colors, which to me explains a lot about Katie's ability to make good decisions (married Tom Cruise).  You can buy 'em here!

When it comes to these kind of retro styles, Oliver Peoples always nails it dead on. The style gives off the classic vibe, but still manages to look new/fresh. It's eyecatching without being overwhelming, which is a subtle art form that they've mastered. In my eyes OP is one of the all time best at translataing their brand & message via their styles/campaigns; being prestigious & culturally distinctive.

Wouldn't have thought of this pair from Paul Smith for Katie, but somehow it kinda works. The Foxley is deff a unique look with the angular lenses which hang down from the thin wire frame. One things for sure, they are very fun & could work well on both men & women. BTW - There's several great looks from the PS collection which we're yet to see on celebs, but are deff worth a look.

Oh no, they didn't! So when the F did Prada start making Oakleys? Seriously, if I was a part-time employee at SGH I'd prolly set these on the shelf right next to some white Gas Cans. Apparently they are inspired by the swing dance craze of the 1940's (see here), but I wasn't alive back then so who cares. I feel like I'm at Nascar just looking at them. If this catches on I will dump all my sunglasses in the garbage disposal!   Yours are here!

Hmmm, I wouldn't have picked these for Katie, but surprisingly they don't look terrible on her. So the style is 1 of the 2 styles that OP collaborated on with designer Christophe Decarnin who leads the fashion brand, Balmain. It's like an aviator on roids kinda look with the exaggerated teardrop lens shape. Best part is the metal temples that stem from the very tippy top of the frame. For sure it's a great mixture of OP's understated styles & Balmain's edgy runway feel.

So that Katie Holmes Cruise chick is wearing some shades here from Chloe. The style sorta has what I call the "Trendy Old Lady" look going on, just meaning that they look like an older style with a touch of newness. It's decent, but deff not my fav on Katie. In fact, I don't know if she's ever picked out a style that fit her!   You can find 'em here!

So the better half (we're all in agreement with that by now, right?) K Holmes is wearing some shades from Persol. So these don't look bad on Katie, but at the same time they're not that flattering either. The shape is a bit smaller and definitely more classic, but, it's funny with Persol, almost every frame they make looks just like this. We practically need a damn magnifying glass to identify frames from Persol these days. Still it's a brand that relies on its core fans and keeps it simple.
