We recently visited an Ilori sunglass boutique for the first time ever and OMG it was incredible. If you are a fan of our site then I can guarantee you that this store would be like heaven on earth.

First of all, the look of the store is very different from any other sunglasses store I've seen. The layout kinda makes every pair seem special, as opposed to seeing the typical rows upon rows of sunglasses.

I immediately went to the Chrome Hearts that were completely open to try on. No lock, no key, not even a bulky sensor. I couldn’t believe it.

The selection of sunglasses that Ilori has is unparalleled to any store I've ever seen. I saw Phillip Lim, Badgley Mischka, Balenciaga, Emilio Pucci, Lanvin, Loree Rodkin, Proenza Schouler, Sama; not to mention a lot of the standard brands that everyone has.

Even the staff was quite impressive. I spoke with a girl who seemed to be very well educated in the world of designer eyewear and was shocked when she told me she'd only been with the company for 6 months. My hat's off to the training program in place at these stores. Any of the associates there could have passed for a celebrity-sunglasses-finder blogger.

So Luxottica has finally nailed it with these stores and made a store that is a real dream come true.

Barton Perreira and Barneys have released the Albert Maysles Frame. Like the classic look and feel of Albert Maysles documentaries, Barton Perreira replicates Albert’s signature look in these hand crafted, limited quantity frames. The collaboration includes a reader and sunglass in Albert’s signature look that the icon is known for. Frame colors include black, cloud and white. The frames are exclusive to Barneys New York, in all 10 of their full line stores including their web site. The sunglasses retail for $350 and the readers retail for $365.
