Today we are proud to announce that after lots of
careful consideration Celebrity Sunglasses Finder.com has decided to
sell our website to Luxottica. Luxottica is the world's
largest eyewear company, best known for its brands like Ray-Ban
& Oakley, and we feel that it will be a good match.
We know that Luxottica will be fair and show you a great selection of
Wayfarers and all their many colors. We'd also like to announce that
they're changing the name of the site to Celebrity Wayfarer Finder.
Happy April Fools Day!

As a fan of Chanel
I had been wondering when I'd actually see some good styles from them
since it has been a while. Here are a few boutique exclusive styles
that I liked on their site. You can see these and some other new styles
from them right here.

Oliver Peoples debuted a new video last week for
their 2010 campaign called "The kids are bored on Sundays", featuring
Elijah Wood and Shirley Manson (lead singer from Garbage). I find it
delightfully fun & mesmerizing :)

Rays Lite's Vegas Sunglass
Experience Mar
1, 2010
Photos: Rays Lite and Las Vegas
No,
it's not the name of a new ride in Vegas (although it should be). it's
just my thoughts on my trip there last week. So obviously while I was
there I made a few stops in search of sunnies, starting with City
Center & Fashion Show Mall and several different sunglass
boutiques
throughout the strip.
The first thing that you will definitely see a lot of in Vegas is
Chrome Hearts, actually I don’t think that there was a single shop that
didn’t carry them. As great as it is to see Chrome Hearts everywhere,
this is where the problem begins. When you are in Vegas the kind of
customer service that you receive is a very unique kind which is much
different than what you're used to at a mall.
Basically the employees in most shops will be very helpful, courteous
& knowledgeable to your needs, however they will also tell you
that
everything you try on looks amazing. You see in Vegas people spend
money like water and the employees know that shoppers are usually in a
hurry to get to a show or dinner and will prolly not try on more then a
few styles.
It didn’t matter if I tried on the smallest possible style
for my face, you would hear every time that they were great, especially
if they were CH's. You could practically see their mouths water. I
understand it's Vegas and it's almost expected to get the "Pretty
Woman" kinda treatment, but employees should be able to turn that
switch on and off.
Yes 99% of the time it will work when someone's told they look great in
every style, but that kinda service just makes me wanna run to the
door, fast! As far as new and exciting styles that I saw while I was
there, I was honestly a little underwhelmed. In most cases the shops
just had the house favs like Chanel, Gucci, blah, blah, blah and then
like 1 or 2 exciting brands, i.e. Chrome Hearts, Cartier, etc.
To be 100% honest the absolute best selection and service I received
out of any sunglass shop in Vegas was at Ilori. It really is a sunglass
fanatic’s paradise. The brands carried in those stores are just
mesmerizing; like Sama, Thierry Lasry, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Kata and so
on. The best part is they seem to have the best styles out from each
collection, it's crazy.
I mentioned this before, but the service and knowledge I've encountered
in Ilori stores is just phenomenal & truly remarkable. Best
part
is, you don’t need to go to Vegas to find an Ilori store. They're in
about 15 diff states right now.
So that's all I can say about the sunglass experience in Vegas. If you
go and you're expecting to find some new crazy exciting brands and tons
of exclusives, all you really need to do is go visit an Ilori store.
