June 10, 2008 Ok I'm back. Yes, I know, it's been forever since my last update, but we have been really busy here at the site. When I stated working for Celebrity Sunglasses Finder.com back in November the site hardly existed. Now, some 8 months later, it ranks among the top sites in the world. We are currently ranked higher than one of my former employers, Solstice. Let me just say that the nearly two years that I worked for that company were 2 of the worst in my life. I am honored to be a part of something new and exciting where our only goal is to answer your requests. Honestly, try walking into a sunglass retail store and asking what sunglasses were in the movie 'IronMan' and see what they tell you. It's really cool to work here and read peoples' responses when you help them find a request. This site is all about giving people what they want and obviously they want to know what sunglasses celebrities are wearing. I want to say thanks to everyone for your support and also your patience as we try our best to answer all your requests. We have also made some great new friends here at Celebrity Sun and we'd like to say hello to Jee Vice, Barton Perreira, Robert Marc and Miyagi. Thank you all very much for your help and support. It's brands like these that are the future of the business. So the site has had a make-over or two and we have added a few new features to better serve everyone. First, who remembers when the site looked like this?  So everyone's favorite addition is the StarShop. The StarShop was created so that you could shop for sunglasses that celebrities are wearing all on one page. So you don't have to go from celebrity page to celebrity page. You can just StarShop! The more fans we get the more we want to add to the site. So of course tell all your friends to come and check us out. Next, we will be adding the Top Ten Sunglasses of the Month page, so stay tuned and we'll keep telling you "WHAT THEY WERE WEARING!" |

24, 2008 Hello everyone. I'm the voice of Celebrity-Sunglasses-Finder.com and your host, Rays Lite. So you might be wondering who I am and where I came from, so I'll tell you. I have been in the designer eyewear business for the past 8 years now and worked with all the major companies. I have worked closely with brand representatives and CEOs from every brand imaginable. I have helped hundreds of thousands of people determine what to wear and why to wear it. I have a very deep passion for sunglasses and some very strong opinions about the brands that make them. I have seen and worn more brands then most people know exist. I myself own over ten thousand dollars worth of sunglasses. Sunglasses are something that will always be a part of my life and that is why I work for this site. Recently, the company that I was working for made me resign due to my involvement with celebrity-sunglasses-finder.com. The decision was made that it was a conflict of interest. Well, I tell you what, if telling people the truth about the sunglasses that they are buying and finding them for the cheapest price possible is wrong, then you can kiss my ass. That is why some might say that I'm the bad-ass of glass. It seems no matter what sunglass company I've worked for my honesty and style have always gotten me in trouble. You know what though? You know who I'm really looking out for? It's you. That's right. The customer, the people; that's who keeps the stores and the businesses running. I'm just the guy trying to give them the inside truth about the products that they are buying. So screw it if Rays Lite can never work at some lame ass mindless corporate office where everyone just keeps their opinions to themselves so they can keep their jobs. I get my satisfaction from telling the 80 year old police reservist that the $150 Revos are better than the $400 Maui Jims. It's called 'keeping it real' and that's what I do. The only difference between me and all the celebrity gossip sites out there is I actually know what the hell I'm talking about. I mean, any hack can make fun of pictures of celebrities and call it a website. Me, I'm just trying to answer the same question that I've heard for the past 8 years, which is 'WHAT SUNGLASSES WERE THEY WEARING?" |
